VLC Media Player soon to get Apple AirPlay support

VLC is one of the most used videos and Movie player on both smartphones and windows. The service at CES 2019 announced that the VLC support will be rolling for the Apple Airplay so that you can stream and mirror all your content from your Android or iOS device to the Apple TV.

However, it is not clear when the feature will be rolled out but at CES it was revealed the update will be available in the VLC 4. VLC app already has support to stream the content to Chromecast.

Apple Airplay 2 support is also coming to a number of smart TVs. List of Smart TVs that will support Apple AirPlay 2 :
