Xiaomi Mi Wireless Charger (Universal Fast Charging)

Xiaomi adds another device in its series of Mi gadgets, as the Chinese tech maker introduced the new Mi Wireless Charger in China. The new Xiaomi Mi Wireless Charger features Universal Fast Charging at the limit of 10W and also comes with Qi wireless charging standards. With the launch of the new wireless charging, Xiaomi is maintaining its own commitment to offering best gadgets at a lower price, as the new Xiaomi Mi Wireless Charger comes at a price of just $10 or Rs. 700.

Talking more about the new Mi Wireless Charger, the device comes with a simple and elegant design, the aluminium alloy shell looks premium and with CNC processed edges looks clean and adds beauty to this product. Even the pricing of the wireless charging is low as compared to the others in the market, Xiaomi didn’t compromise with the device quality at all. There is a silicone mat at the top of the surface where the smartphone sits for charging, and the silicone mat prevents the device to slide. Also, there is a LED light that notifies when the charging is going on. Not only this, the device comes with all standard safety measures, which includes over-voltage protection, power-overage protection, thermal protection, short-circuit protection, and foreign object detection, where the wireless charger stops working as soon as it detects any other object, like metallic pieces on the surface other than the smartphone, which can be fatal.

One thing that needs to be noted is that you won’t find any charging adapter if you are about to buy the Mi wireless charger, this is one of reason, why Xiaomi Mi wireless charger is available at lower price, as most of the wireless chargers available in the market come with an adapter. For charging your device using Mi wireless charger, you can use the adapter that you received in your handset box, keep in mind that the wireless charging mat only supports 5W, 7W and 10W adapters only.

The Xiaomi Mi wireless charger launched in China, and for now, will be available for purchase in China only. If you are interested, you can get one from Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, Tmall, Jingdong, Suning Tesco and Mi Home stores and sales start from 3rd September. Talking about the Mi Wireless Charger India launch, there is no such official statement by Xiaomi for now.
