The Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi is well known for its budget smartphones, where even a small budget packs a lot of features, and the biggest role for providing all the features is the MIUI, which is Xiaomi’s custom ROM, which packs a long list of features. The best part is Xiaomi is continuously working on the MIUI and developing it for more features and better performance, and we have seen in the same with the launch of the MIUI 10. And it seems, that the MIUI is about to get much better, as company officially announced that the new Xiaomi MIUI 11 is in works.
Liu Ming, head of Product planning department of Xiaomi internet MIUI Core Experience Annual Meeting officially stated that company is working on the new MIUI, that would be called MIUI 11, presented as “a new and unique OS”, but Liu didn’t mention any dates for the global launch of the new ROM neither the beta testing period.
Talking about the MIUI 10, which is the current stable MIUI version, which launched a few months back, currently running on more than 40 models of the Mi and Redmi series devices.
As you can see in the image, company mentioned MIUI 11 as “a new and unique OS”, which probably will bring the new and smooth interface, but we are not expecting many changes in the design, but surely we will be seeing better performance and optimisation.
