Xiaomi announced the new Poco F1 back in August under its sub-brand Pocophone. And with the new Poco F1 Xiaomi successfully drew attention of tech enthusiast all over the world, as the Poco F1 packs some really awesome features like the flagship grade Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with the Liquid Cooling system for playing high-end games, Infrared Face Unlock system, and the all-new faster and customized User Interface with a price tag of Rs. 20,999. Poco Launcher is a customized version of the MIUI, and the current version of MIUI for POCO is based on the MIUI 9.6, and it’s about to get better with the new MIUI 10 update and according to a report, some of the Xiaomi Poco F1 are receiving MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM Update in India.
To recall, the Poco F1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6, and with the new update, the device will be getting the MIUI 10 Global Stable version of the Custom OS as promised at the time of the launch of the device. The current version of the MIUI for Poco comes with a long list of features and with the new update, the Poco F1 will be getting much more additional features other than the improvement in the Poco Launcher, App Optimisation, Camera performance and more.

The news update for the MIUI 10 Global Stable version was shared by the General Manager of Poco India, C Manmohan in a Twitter post of Poco India. In the post, he mentioned, “POCO fans! #DiwaliwithMi just keeps getting better. We have started rolling out MIUI 10 stable for #POCOF1 to all users. It’s time to update!” Alvin Tse, Head of Pocophone Global in another Tweet, mentioned on the behalf of Poco Global that the global variant of Poco F1 will be getting the MIUI 10 Global Stable version as well.

The MIUI 10 update for the Poco F1 with a size of 592 Mb will bring new features along with the Android Patches for the month of October 2018. Poco F1 users will receive a notification on the device for the new MIUI 10 update, however, the update can be checked manually, for this dive into the device Settings > About phone > System updates,> Check for updates. If the update is available on your device, you can download and update your device for all new features. The update starts receiving for some Poco F1, but it will take some time to roll out in every handset.
